Please note we accept goods by appointment only on Fridays and Mondays between 9:00am and 4:30pm.
To submit items for our weekly sales, goods need to be received by 4.30pm Monday and for special catalogue sales the lead time tends to be six weeks prior to auction date. See department pages for contact details.
Offsite valuations are charged at an hourly rate of $220, with a minimum charge of 1 hour. This fee includes a typed valuation report provided within 10 working days of the appraisal. If goods are consigned through Leonard Joel within 3 months of appointment, the valuation fee is only refundable if the items reach a total of $1500 against the vendor commission charged. Please note, all administrative fees are non refundable. To arrange for valuation fee reimbursements please contact the valuations manager and provide your invoice and consignment numbers.
Travel Fees are applicable when travel outside of the Melbourne metropolitan area is required.
A fee of $110 per hour, each way is incurred. This charge is non refundable.
Cancelation Fees are not incurred when clients have provided more than 24 hours notice.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of appointment will be charged the equivalent of 1 hour valuation fee, i.e. for market valuations the cancellation fee is $220
